Just what are lofts? Most of us think of abandoned warehouses, high ceilings, windows. Brick walls, wooden beams, exposed ductwork. And no interior walls. 1950s Manhattan. Edgy, romantic, an artist's lair.
But what about Downtown Tempe lofts? No abandoned warehouses here. There are, however, amazing re-creations of lofts throughout the Downtown Tempe area that incorporate many of the classic loft features. Some Tempe lofts are one-story while other bi-level lofts sport a second level mezzanine overlooking the floor below. Some lofts have exposed ductwork, others do not. Some have exposed brick, others have drywall. Some have interior walls while others feature large, open spaces. And because lofts are in such demand, some developers market their projects as "lofts" simply because they are edgy and contemporary - despite the fact that they do not have traditional loft elements.
Downtown Tempe Lofts? There are a lot of them to see and you can be sure that there is a loft style for your own unique personality.
